THANK YOU to all past and current guests who have expressed concern about us in the recent floods in our area. Fortunately, Lake Wisconsin Cottage has been unaffected by the floods, other than soggy yards and high lake levels. We have had no damage and are operating normally. Thanks for your emails and expressions of concern. Many of our neighbors in area towns....Baraboo, Columbus, Reedsburg, Spring Green, Pardeeville to name a few.....have had significant damage. If you would like to help, please contact your local American Red Cross and specify assistance to the "Wisconsin Floods". Keep us in your thoughts......rivers are still cresting and we are all anxiously awaiting the impact.

The SUMMER RENTAL SEASON is upon us. Much of the summer is booked, but call for last minute openings! The lake is gorgeous, the sunsets are directly over the Baraboo Bluffs, the air is warm, and the sandhill cranes feed from our dock! 608-635-2779.

The good news is that there is no price increase from 2007! Since we can't say the same for gas prices, this year is a good time to drive a short distance. Lake Wisconsin Cottage is approximately 3 hours from Chicago or Minneapolis, 2 hours from Milwaukee, and only a half hour from Madison or the Dells.

NEW for 2008.......Weekly stays will be Friday-Friday to allow you a full weekend to enjoy. Check-out times extended!

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

LAKE WISCONSIN COTTAGE, LLC is located in south central Wisconsin, approximately halfway between Madison and the Wisconsin Dells. We are about 5 minutes off I-90/94, in a quiet, lakefront neighborhood directly on the beautiful Lake Wisconsin lakefront. A free public boat launch is about one half mile away.

Driving time is approximately:

  • 3 hours from Chicago
  • 1 1/2 hours from Rockford
  • 1 1/2 hours from Milwaukee
  • 4 hours from Minneapolis
  • 30 min north of Madison
  • 35 min south of Wisconsin Dells

Directions:

Take Exit #115 off I-90/94, Poynette and Lake Wisconsin. Go west towards Lake Wisconsin on County CS, approximately 3 1/2 miles. At the first stop sign, go straight (this becomes County V) and continue to the second road, which is Stein Road. Turn right and go 2 blocks to bottom of hill (enjoy that gorgeous lake view). At the stop sign, turn left onto Becker Road. Lake Wisconsin Cottage is near the end at W10728 Becker Road (6th house on the lakeside, small white cottage with black shutters).
